Kihon in the  dojo We are located in Paonia, Colorado - 60 miles west of Carbondale and 30 miles east of  Delta.

Sensei Rick McGavin offers traditional Shotokan Karate classes, as well as self-defense and sparring practice.  Students range in age from 4 to 60.
Punching
Our dojo (workout space) is located at 311 2nd Street in Paonia.  Be 5 - 10 minutes early for class.
Class Schedule:
Monday:   5-6 pm. Little Dragons (4-8 years old)
6-7 pm. Youth (9-14)
7-8 pm. Adult
Tuesday: 6-7 pm. MAX Class for Women
7-8 pm. Kubudo
Wednesday: 6-7 pm. Youth (9-14)
7-8 pm. Adult

Cost of classes:  (as of 1/1/08, prices subject to change without notice)
Little Dragons $28Per Month Yearly Membership to IMA - $30
Youth and Adult Classes (2 Classes per week or makeup class within 1 month) $42Per Month Uniform     (Gi)     - $30-$38,  price depends on size
Other gear  - contact Sensei for prices.
Kubudo (1x per week) $30Per Month Belt level testing   -starts at $30 and includes new belt and certificate.
MAX Class Session 1 (1x per week) $50 for 6 weeks
Family Rates (2 classes per week per family member) $115Per Month
Ultimate Training - Come to all classes plus 2 extra open sessions per week to train by yourself or with your workout partner. $55 Per Month
$150 for Family Rate
