Kobudo -   weapons training

Kobudo, the study of traditional hand held weapons. Considered to be a perfect compliment to ones regular karate training , this  weapons program involves staff (bo), tonfas, nunckuka , short staff (jo), sai. A very structured class is only open to students, both adult and youth, who have reached the karate rank of 7kyu, full orange belt. Safety and absolute control are primary skills. Some padded weapon units are part of the curriculum.
