Chief Instructor and founder of North Fork Karate, Shihan  McGavin is a sixth degree black belt (Rokudan). He has been training in traditional Shotokan Karate for more than 30 years .He has been actively teaching with the International Martialarts Association for more than 25 years.  Mr. McGavin has always stressed family involvement in Karate training. Respect of peers, family and community is also considered an important part of training

 

Instructor, Sensei  McGavin is a fourth degree black belt (Yondan). She has been training in traditional Shotokan Karate for more than 18 years .She has been actively teaching with the International Martialarts Association for 8 years.  Sensei. McGavin is responsible for the youth program for North Fork karate. Mrs. McGavin has a 

Referee AA  license   with  USA Karate. She looked up to for  her teaching skills and she surprises both young and old with her kicking skills.
